I think everyone likes vBulletin tho. I don't mind the domain, i just like the setup of vBulletin, more options and freedom...

Have you tried looking for other forum makers that may be better than forumotion?
I mean there's plenty of good forum makers you just need to find the right one, or naybe wait and see how many more players we get once the games out and see if its a good idea to get vBulletin. You don't want to buy it and then the game dies and noone plays it and the forums become useless.

Agreed. We need to make the most of our money. You put forward a very possible (and deadly) scenario H3uy.

Agreed huey, plus with vBulletin the pgo and gt forums would look almost identical!

It's hard to find another one that is supposedly better though. Unless you already have an idea.

Well explore the other gaming forums until you find one you like. I personally liked the one the gt community invaded for god knows what. But the devs here should feel free to explore to find one they like. This way you can test all your options before thinking of making a purchase, plus its a good idea to hold out until its confirmed that pgo is getting the members so its not a wasted investment.

We can break away from forumotion for a year for a pretty cheap price. We can get our own domain name, loose the ads, excetera, excetera..

How about moving to ProBoards first, and once you get a larger fan base, move to a forum like IPS Board (can't post link yet, sorry)
It's not that cheap but you can feed some of the $$ from the game into it. It looks nice too.

Tbh, I about made the move to ProBoards yesterday....But I don't feel like moving the community to one forums and then get bigger and then move to another one....That'll just be a mess..

If you need help with forums im familiar with making forums and such stuff. Ive made some a while back.
Ive made blog websites as well.

There is a game I play called TankiOnline and they have millions of players. Their forum is pretty cool tho. Idk the name of the forum company they use though but I can find out what they use.

Ive played that game before. Pretty fun!
