| So, in gt...I have noticed this WAYYY too much....Everyone calls everyone noobs....Not in PGO they won't....If we see anybody or see in logs people calling anyone else noob.....You will have your mouth Zipped up....If it keeps happening we will just either Curse you or even Ban...I hope I made myself clear. This will be a family friendly game... | |

| Nice to rule. People go to far with the word noob. I mean if your playing around with your friends thats good, but to go as far and practically bully someone calling them a noob everywhere they go is completly rude. This will definetly help this community go up-hill. Very good | |

Maybe just a bit less strict? If some friends are joking around calling each others noobs, that's fine. And if someone says it once or twice, fine. Maybe only if we see them doing it all the time, insulting random people?

Once or twice is fine...but not if they keep doing it.

| I don't think that we should target the word "noob" but any forms of bullying and herrassment, considering that the word noob has to broad a meaning. | |

| I agree hunter and player. If it goes WAY to far then i suggest to take any actions possible to stop it from happening again. | |

I totally agree with you. People on Growtopia are just plain rude, even when you don't want to trade you get called a noob. As the games starts to go viral it will get crazy, but we will be there to enforce the rules. Also I thought ban hammer was an action or command.

| Speaking of ban hammer, it can be given to people. Does that give them the ability to ban others? I think noob doesn't mean anything wrong, but I see your point with the fact that it's taken too far. My suggestion: no rule regarding noob, but mods should be on the lookout for inappropriate usages. | |

My suggestion: no rule regarding noob, but mods should be on the lookout for inappropriate usages. That will require too much effort on the mods part once there are more players. Mods need off times too, they can't spend the entire day just surveying the players lol, there's CCTVs for that.

They have access to chat logs...So people could get Zipped a week after they did it.

| Perhaps one should focus on more serious offences and how to counter them instead of banning anyone saying 'noob'. The term is a common gamer term. Seems a bit strict to me.
Nevertheless, I suppose we'll see how it goes. A lot of players may end up getting punished and if we've learned anything from GT, people will complain about ANYTHING, including being punished. Prepare the support team for an onslaught of 'UNBAN MEEEE!' and 'UPDATE MOAR' and 'ZOMG U SUK' This is the curse of the developer. No matter what you do, you will always have people complain.
Fear not, for if you run it professionally, this will only be a minor problem. The team that we have seem very good at their job. And it should be easy enough to invent powerful and useful commands for the mods to use for their job
Another thing. Hacking, people may do it if they find an exploit. Seth is like l33t at coding so he can just whip up a few lines of code to counter it. Such as A* pathfinding for movement. However, before you can walk, you must learn to crawl. It's awesome that the devs for this are learning along the way, and we will support you through it.
Moderators are there to let developers do their job of making the game without being pestered by bad people.
